Types of Classes

We have a lot of different kinds of activities we teach! If there is no level written the classes are for all levels, otherwise between the hooks are the level ranges. 1 is always the beginner level.

Poledance Aarhus

Poledance (1-5)

Poledance classes are classes where you will learn tricks and choreo on a pole. There will be different levels and you can find your level by asking your instructor, or checking out the list on the website or pinterest.

Even though Poledance comes from "The Club" in these classes we focus more or the strength, flexibility and gymnastic skills.

Pole Heels & Sock flow

Poledance Heels and Sock flow is more focused on choreography and students can wear heels in Pole Heels and socks in Socks Flow classes. We will go through basic flow moves, combining them to the music. Suitable for beginners who have never tried choreo, or who feel unstable in their heels, and want to brush up some techniques 😊 We recommend some basic spins like Chairspin, Boomerang and split grip. This is for the safety of both the students and instructor.

Floorwork

In this class you can learn fluid movements detached from the pole/silks/hoop. Open to all levels, we'll be focusing solely on floorwork. No heels required, although you are welcome to wear your heels if it's your style and you'd like to practise floorwork in heels! We recommend wearing comfy long leggings or sweatpants and bringing a long-sleeved shirt for better sliding. Kneepads are highly recommended!

Aerial Hoop (1-3)

Aerial Hoop is an iron hoop hanging from the ceiling where many different shapes can be made and discovered.

As you might see in the cirkus many dynamic moves can be created and we believe it should be possible for people to play around with these.

We recommend long sleeves and Leggings.

Wearing sleeves and leggings is required with Sling/Hammock

Aerial Silks (1-3)

Aerial Silks are similar to Hammock as they are both fabric and shapes and flow can be made in them. The difference is that Silks do not have a loop on the bottom and instead has more fabric to be wrapped. It is recommended to participate in Hammock classes if you have not tried silks before. Wearing full sleeves and leggings is recommended with Silks

Aerial Yoga Aarhus

Aerial Yoga

Aerial Yoga is a mix between Aerial Hammock and Yoga. We focus on our breath and build strength and flexibility with help of the Hammock.

We create Vinyasa flows with the support point from the top. This gives us the possibility to use gravity to our advantage.

Wearing sleeves and leggings is required with aerial yoga

Yoga

Yoga means to unite, finding the perfect harmony between mind and body. There will be mostly asthanga flow with components of hatha and vinyasa. We will start with some breathing exercises (pranayama) and then continue to the flow. Preferably don't eat a heavy meal before class, breath work is best preformed on a mostly empty stomach.
